Sugarcane Mechanical Harvesting: some parameters

Abstract

The harvesting mechanization of sugar cane is a technology which has facilitated the cut, the section, the cleaning and the loading of the stalks. This article analyses the main parameters that interferes in adopting the process of mechanical harvesting in sugarcane crop in Brazil. Based on theoretical references, some parameters engaged in the process of mechanical harvesting of sugarcane were analyzed, such as: adaptable varieties for mechanization, efficient and precise machines, specialized laboring to absorb all technological improvements which make practical a better quality of the raw material supplied for the industry.
