HOMEOPATHIC MEDICAMENTS ADMINISTRED BY INICIAL DIET OF PIGLETS AND THE INCIDENCE OF DISORDERS FROM 7 TO 28 DAY

The objective of this study was to evaluate the imunostimulant effect of the homeopathic medicaments Echinacea and Ignatia on Landrace-Pietran crossbred piglets distributed among three groups. The trial was carried out on pig farm of FAFRAM, in Ituverava. The homeopathic medicaments were administered by initial diet from 7 to 28 days of age. The piglets were weaned at 21st day of life. The group I was not treated and was the control; the group II was treated with Echinacea 12CH and the piglets of group III were treated with Echinacea 12CH plus Ignatia 12CH. Clinical examination were carried out daily and the piglets were weighted at 0, 7, 14 e 28 days of age. The homeopathic medicament Echinacea (group II) and its association with Ignatia (group III) were efficient for prevention of intestinal diseases which is common during maternity and nursery fases and decreased the stress after weaning. The piglets from group III showed more familiar and adaptaded to nursery them those of group II.Downloads
