The study was done in a specific area considered mixt zone made up of residential and commercial establishments in the city of Ituverava-SP. The objective of this paper is to analyze the arboreal species present in the area and their association with the urban context. In order to promote a more detailed in loco survey and study, a delimitation of the area was proposed for the development of the study with the purpose of verifying appropriateness and inappropriateness according to the classification of the arboreal individuals present in the area. This study will show the importance of implementing planned urban afforestation.
