In this study, understood as a bibliographical research, it was looked to argue the importance of the ambient education through a survey on the process of development of the conscience on the environment in Brazil and the World. It was inquired that Ambient Education constitutes essential component for the concretion of new knowledge of a standard of sustainable human growth that combines development, economic harmony and social justice. Therefore, one of the objectives of the ambient education is to take to people the new visions of world, being suggested an information that is come back toward the importance of the rights and duties of each one, remaking the imperfections committed in the past and observing the importance of the citizenship condition.
