Uso dos maturadores químicos na cultura da cana-de-açúcar(Saccharum spp)

Abstract

SUMMARY: This study was carried out to verify the implementation of maturadores plant in the culture of sugarcane (Saccharum spp), therefore, has become a common practice designed to anticipate the maturation and, when applied before or during the period of induction, the control of flowering and thus provide raw material of good quality for early industrialization and help producers in the management of varieties. The products most used as maturadores are included in the group of inhibitors of growth, focusing on: Diquat, glyfosate, fluazifop-butyl. The use of maturadores is an important tool to plan the harvest of sugar cane, allowing producers to anticipate or postpone the start of sugar.
